Think green for a sustainable future. Leading insurance and risk management provider, Lockton Philippines invites college students to join the 1st Legacy Awards and submit their bright ideas to help build a better future.

Lockton Philippines, one of the country’s leading insurance and risk management providers, is now accepting entries for the 1st Legacy Awards, designed to recognize action research initiatives that promote responsible and efficient use of resources.

The deadline of application is on August 31, while the submission of entries is until October 2.

Winning entries will be announced in November, with the possibility of collaborating with partner companies to have the proposals implemented. The awards program is selecting winners from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and special award categories alongside the over-all Grand Prize to encourage participation of more schools outside the metro. Cash prizes up to Php1M are to be awarded to the winning student groups, faculty advisors, and schools.

Participating groups are required to submit an evaluative, analytical, investigative action research that suggests better practices for business to operate. The Legacy Awards is open to teams of 3-5 college students, currently enrolled in a BA/BS program in any Philippine tertiary education institution. Each team is required to have one faculty adviser who is duly recognized by their school.

Those who want to join must fill out the 1st Lockton Philippines Legacy Awards application form provided in the entry kit. Submissions must be sent to legacy.awards@locktonph.com in a ZIP file containing two PDF copies of the research paper, and a one-page letter with the school’s letterhead from the faculty adviser stating that the students made the research and is still unpublished.
